Mustafa Hassanali to Fundraise in Zanzibar The Mental Hospital of Zanzibar, Kidongo Chekundu, built in 1947 during the British colonial period has been in dire need of funding for a long time. Hence Explore Zanzibar took the initiative to raise funds so as to bring about a change. Maryam Olsen, Managing Director of Explore Zanzibar Says “As a Zanzibari it’s our responsibility and duty to Accord a decent life to those neglected by the Society”. To support her calling, Mustafa Hassanali Joined forces to fund Raise for this Project in year 2008 where a Total of more than 15 million TSH were Raised. MMustafa Hassanali, Tanzania’s renowned Fashion Designer shall showcase his creation on 7 August 2009 at Zanzibar Hotel in stone town with Models from Dar es Salaam. The Show shall also feature performance by Tanzania House of Talent and showcase by Kanga Kabisa. The MC for the event will be renowned Dar es Salaam Personality Sauda Simba.
